Ways To Accept Change and Move Towards Success
Saint Amit Ray says “In every change, in every falling leaf there is some beauty.” The roadblock to change and success can be removed. The biggest roadblock to change and success is our Ego. How can you stop resisting the changes in your life and just accept them and move on? I’ll describe three ways in which an unwanted change can help you instead of hindering you.
You shouldn’t resist a change too hard or anything else that seems to be arresting your progress and goals. You need to be comfortable with being uncomfortable and leverage change for your success. Effective change management is the art of manifestation and success. The purpose of change management is to implement strategies for controlling change, helping people to adapt to change and effecting change.
“In every change, in every falling leaf there is some pain, some beauty. And that’s the way new leaves grow.” — Amit Ray
Step #1: Self discovery:
Rather than moving by the opinions of family, friends, neighborhood or peer pressure, self-discovery is understanding what you like most from the depth of your heart. Self-discovery gives insights about yourself and inner strength.
Step #2: Find out new ways of life:
We have 85 billion microprocessors (neurons) and ten trillion wires and connections (dendrites and synapses). As we are more flexible and learn new things new pathways are created in our brain. If you continue with your old habits that will damage your brain. Learn something new every day and experience the life changing benefits that come with challenging your mind by accepting the changes.
Step #3: Letting go:
When you start accepting the changes, you’ll essentially be removing negative energy. You’d no longer be fussing over things which you can’t control in life. Nor will you be feeling helpless or disappointed.
This, combined with a calm and positive state of mind, would enable you to live in the moment, let go and be content just where you are, the way you are.
Key Points:
Success is not linear, though I wish it was, so expect that when you face change, there will be a time that you have to move one step backward and then again ten steps forward. This may be in terms of status, pay or some other factors required to get to the next level. If your mind knows that’s part of the process and removes the uncertainly around it, it’s easier to embrace change and move towards success.
