Teachings of Saint Amit Ray, repeatedly says about fearlessness and anxiety-free life. Today, morning I was contemplating on one of his word, “Do not fear I am with you – I am, the timeless Supreme Self in you – I am, the all-pervading divine consciousness in you.” His teachings helped me a lot, to come out of fear. His words gives me immense strength and courage. Whatever be the circumstances, you can use his teachings and words to find a peace and positive energy.
No matter what the cause of fear or anxiety, stress can floods your body with hormones. Your heart pounds, your breathing speeds up, and your muscles tense. Don’t give up! God promises greater things in your life – a future filled with promise and hope! He said,
“God is dancing in our breath, singing in our thoughts, and celebrating in our DNA when you understand that God, fears evaporate and eternity arises.” — Amit Ray
By the word God, Amit Ray generally refers to the all-pervading supreme healing power. Fear is mostly due to the damaged neurons in our brain. Brain has enormous auto-healing and self-repairing mechanism. Through, Om meditation and other breathing techniques on can accelerate the self- healing process and eliminate the fear related problems. Freedom from fear is very empowering! Oftentimes fear can make us feel trapped, but God can set us free.
Anxiety is often defined as an intensified fear or avoidance in response to objects or situations in the absence of real danger. It is also defined as an emotional response to potential unidentified or unrealistic threats. Anxiety related disorders include post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), panic disorder, and social phobia. Anxiety can make us sad and upset, but knowing the God that is with us can bring so much joy in the face of difficulties.
“If you want to conquer the anxiety of life, live in the moment, live in the breath.” — Amit Ray
Several brain regions have been associated to anxiety in humans. Amygdala is considered as to be pivotal in orchestrating behavioral responses to both fear and anxiety. Neuroimaging studies suggest that insula also plays a critical role in the anxiety-related disorders. Hippocampal injury associated to learning and memory deficits are the hallmarks of brain trauma. However, our brain has the inherent potential to restore populations of damaged or destroyed neurons. Specially, neural stem cells/progenitor cells (NSCs/NPCs) of the brain capable of generating new neurons and glia. which can repair the damaged fear neurons in the brain.
“Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.” Isaiah 41:10
To overcome fear for long term, you must know who am I? Your cosmic self. With Who AM I meditation, you can manage or reduce anxiety in the long term. This type of meditation has enjoyed increasing popularity in recent years.
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.” Philippians 4:6-8.
When you are overwhelmed with health problems, bad news, or relationship struggles we must rely on God and try to stay in the present moment and with breathing exercises.
